A selection of photographs from the deep surface reflections series was published on the number 13 of Witness Journal.
These photos of mannequins have been taken in various European capitals during the last two years. Shops where mannequins become a reflection of ourselves, our hopes and ways of life, our society, cities and culture.
Some photos of my reportage in Antarctica have been published on the number 12 of the online magazine WitnessJournal, that is a webzine of the photography portal FotoUp.

A series of five photos from Antarctica, with the title The silence of the ice, have won the first place of the category Nature non-pro, section landscape, of the Prix de la Photographie Paris (Px3).
Some minutes ago I received a mail saying that the jury has selected this series also as the major Nature category winner in the 2008 Px3 competition.
On the Px3 site is available the complete list of 2008 winners and people’s choice voting is now open.
During the last year I worked extensively on repeated patterns in architecture.
I’m finally happy to announce that a new album featuring some image from the series Infinite Palaces and Buildings has been recently added to the gallery.
Description and artistic statement coming soon.
I finally had some time to restyle the photo home page.
Now it display additional information about every section of the site, a random picture from the gallery, the last entry in the photoblog and the first picture attached to the last Camera Obscura article. Additionally the new photo home page include directly the most recent activities in the News, Photoblog and Camera Obscura section of the site.
Furthermore all the feeds (excluding users comments) of the different section of the site are aggregated using a Yahoo Pipe and Feedburner, in this way you can subscribe to a unique photo feed to stay up to date with everything new on Fabiano Busdraghi photography page.
I was invited to create a personal page on Artbreak.
I then published some photographs taken during the last time, some of these are for sale in limited and numbered edition.
Some days ago I received this mail:
I work at the Saatchi Gallery and am writing to you to congratulate you on having been chosen to have one of your photographs on the Saatchi Online Wall, which is part of the prestigious Sony World Photography Awards taking place in Cannes later this month. We have made a selection of just 100 photographs to be presented on the Saatchi Online Wall out of the 1000 most highly rated entries. [...]
The Sony Photography Awards exhibitions, including the Saatchi Online Wall, will open on 20 April. [...] We anticipate thousands of people coming to see the exhibition and your work! Photographs of the Saatchi Online Wall will be published on Saatchi Onlineās Magazine after the close of the 2008 Sony Awards at the end of April.
The nice thing is that I’m not obliged to print one of the photos selected in the short list of WPA, but I have the freedom to choose another picture.
I have therefore prepared a personal page on the website of the Saatchi Gallery and chose to print Moloch, a photograph of demons, to be exposed in Cannes.
